We partner with some awesome events throughout the area and not only take the pressure of timing off of the Race Directors, but also create a fun and energetic environment for the runners! The Alex Lamme St. Patrick's Day Dash
Located in Fremont, NE, The Alex Lamme St. Patrick's Day Dash is a 5k and one-mile family walk that celebrates the life and passion for running that Alex Lamme demonstrated throughout his life. This event supports the Alex Lamme Memorial Scholarship and Fremont YMCA.
Miles For Heroes Freedom Fest 5k
If you ever wanted to have a bad-ass start to a bad-ass festival, this is the way to do it. We roasted, and we toasted, and ALL had a blast! Grab your running shoes, a smoke, and a beer, and join us in Scribner, NE for celebrating all things FREEDOM, and those that make it possible!
All proceeds will support Miles for Heroes, a Nebraska nonprofit organization aimed to help Veterans combat PTSD and find a passion in the outdoors.
Hooper July 4th Fun Run
This 2-mile and 10k run has you exploding through the heart of Hooper, NE. This family friendly gathering celebrates the great U, S, of A, with a morning run, followed by a slew of events. Don your most patriotic gear, thank God for America, and join us in this fast pace run through a beautiful small town!
All proceeds will support the Logan View Cheer and Dance team.
Ridge Road Run
Located in Fremont, NE, The Ridge Road Run is the premiere sporting event of the annual John C. Fremont Days celebration. This 2 and 5 mile road race will have you racing across a pancake flat course on the outskirts of Fremont proper. This race was built for a PR.
Craig Spilinek Alumni Run
Located in Fremont, NE, The Craig Spilinek Run starts and finished on the Fremont High School track. This race showcases some of the hottest past, present, and future cross country talent from the area, while also being friendly to community runners of all ages and abilities. This race honors the late Craig Spilinek, who was killed in a non-wartime military accident in 1979.
Dodge County Fair Purple Ribbon Run
Located at the Dodge County Fairground in Scribner, Nebraska, this wonderful event is loaded to the gills with awards for participants! From gift cards for the top overall finishers, to purple ribbons for every participant, this event will not leave you disappointed. Come take a tour of the Dodge County Fairground, and be sure to stuff down all the fried food your heart desires, in this early August event.
The Swede Stampede 5k
Located in Oakland, NE, the Swede Stamped takes you through the beautiful paths of Oakland City Park as part of the annual Oakland Swedish Festival. If running isn't your jam, come test your metal in the second annual Trackapalooza. This is a team-based event where each member of the team participates in either the shot put, long jump, 100m, 200m or 400m dash. See you there!
Twin Rivers YMCA Freedom Run
The 8th Annual Twin Rivers YMCA Freedom Run takes place in Valley, NE. Enjoy our small town charm and hospitality as we remember those we lost on 9/11. Our opening ceremony will include singing of the National Anthem and a 21 gun salute and a large American flag will be flying above the finish line. Race starts and finishes at the Twin Rivers YMCA.
Run For Warriors
The Run for Warriors at Trinity Lutheran Church and School features a fast, flat, chip-timed and family-friendly 1 mile, 5k and 10k! This event benefits the Fremont Veteran's Park as well as Trinity Lutheran school. Also featured at the event is a presentation of colors, the National Anthem and a tribute to those who have served.
The White Light Mile
One mile. The most historical race distance ever. So why not run a mile on the streets of historic downtown Fremont, known long ago as the White Light City? This event provides waves of runners with predetermined starting times, so you can take in the action, and cheer on your fellow athletes. Join us for this USATF-certified, chip-timed dash.
The Charleston's Costume Classic
The Charleston's Costume Classic is a 5k run/walk and 1 mile fun run around the beautiful fall setting of Lake Zorinsky in Omaha, NE. This event benefits the Food Bank of the Heartland. Come grab some cool swag, feast on some awesome post-race food provided by Charleston's and Omaha Steaks, and get your costume on in this fun event, supporting a worthy cause!
Fremont Family YMCA Turkey Trot
Fremont's annual Turkey Trot hosts several options for you to prep for your Thanksgiving Day feasts, including a 1 mile walk, and both a 2 mile and 5 mile run! Whether you're looking to crush a fast time on a PR-friendly course, or have a great and fun time with the family, we've got something in store for everyone!
Annual Sherman-Steichen Memorial Run 5k/10k
Starting in Miller's Park in downtown, Omaha, this scenic run leads you along the Missouri River and over the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. All proceeds go toward the Sherman-Steichen Scholarship fund for pharmacy and physical therapy students at Creighton University, in commemoration of Brett Sherman and Nick Steichen. This event is hosted by the Physical Therapy Leadership Guild and Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society, with Creighton University’s School of Pharmacy and Health Professions.
Red Brick Run
Come get your run on along the beautiful red brick streets of Gretna, NE in this chip-timed 1 mile, 5K, and 10k race. This event supports the Teammates Mentoring program, which aims to encourage and support school-aged youth to graduate high school and pursue post-secondary education. Join us for this scenic course on a beautiful spring day, and support an awesome cause!
Find Your Way 5k
If you like small-town charm, beer, and a wonderful time, check out the Find Your Way 5k presented by The Lost Way Brewery in Holdrege, NE. This event comes packed with awesome food, live music, a scenic course, and a great group of people!
